Morrison Construction is one of Scotland’s leading contractors with an award-winning portfolio covering a range of activities from construction, to civil engineering and repairs and maintenance.

Project Overview:

Nu-Style designed, manufactured and installed Nu-Resistant cubicles, IPS panels and vanity units into the locker rooms at Aker Solutions facilities in Dyce, Aberdeen. These were manufactured from 12mm Solid Grade Laminate (Compact). We also supplied around 200 Nu-alloy lockers, which were all manufactured in our metal fabrication facilities in Aberdeen. This enabled us to ensure quality and control in-house.

Nu-Style’s Added Value:

We had previously supplied 8 areas of office staff toilets with a combination of Nu-Core washroom products to suit the environment and budget. We were also asked to tender for the locker room facilities at Aker to the same specification by the client. However, due to the demanding environment and volume of workshop staff using these locker room facilities daily, our expert team recommended the Nu-Resistant range, because this range is more suitable to frequent use and can withstand the traffic.

The client reviewed our recommendation for heavy duty washroom products, and as a result were able to see the long-term benefits of upgrading the specification to our Nu-Resistant range, which would prove to be the most cost-effective option in the long run and still within the client’s budget.

Providing advice, recommendations and solutions for our client further strengthened our working relationship, allowing us to secure further projects with the client.
